Museum stewards and guides

Our museum showcases a wide range of exhibits, including ancient tools, weapons and artefacts from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. We also have a range of interactive exhibits and displays that allow visitors to experience prehistoric life in Scotland. We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic about the rich prehistory of Argyll who can help us bring the past to life.

Although no experience is necessary, a genuine love of Argyll and its history, and a willingness to learn and share your knowledge with others is essential. We will provide full training and support to help you develop your skills and confidence. Later in the year we hope to provide tours of the museum, and you may decide to extend your skills and progress into this role.
